Although the burial register shows him as Charles William I'm pretty sure that this is correct. The GRO shows him as Charles H. AND, his address at death given as Graydon St. Plumstead. A cul de sac (long gone) which I used to visit my Hawkins relatives in! More proof, my Great Uncle Tom, who died in 1957 and who I remember well, also lived at 12, Graydon St. where Charles did.
